This came in late to Go Green blog central, but Walgreens drugstores are offering one free refill of a printer cartridge at its photo counters today, Wednesday, Sept. 12. Walgreens has been offering refills for sometime, but hadn't promoted the service widely. To get the refill, go to the Walgreen website and just print out the coupon -- no purchase is necessary. Print the coupon and see the list of cartridges that can be refilled here:

After today's promotion, refills will cost $10 for black cartridges and $15 for color. That's a significant savings over buying new ones and keeps old cartridges out of landfills. If you live Intown, there are numerous Walgreens in the area, including 595 Piedmont Ave. You've got until midnight!
