Environmental Forum Series Begins Sept. 3
The first in a series of environmental forums called To Survive and Thrive: Policies and Practices for Sustainable Growth Innovations in Economic Development will be held Sept. 3 from noon to 2 p.m. The guest speaker will be Marilyn Brown, professor of energy policy at Georgia Tech School of Public Policy. Her topic will be Shrinking the Carbon Footprint in Metropolitan Areas, The event is free and open to the public, who are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch. The program will be held at the Centergy Building in Technology Square, 75 5th St. in the Hodges Conference Room on the third floor.
