Randy L. Scritchfield, CFP, LUTCF, from Damascus, Maryland, secured a $2,500 grant from MDRT Foundation on behalf of The Ron Clark Academy.
Scritchfield, of Montgomery Financial Group and a 23-year MDRT member, is the active supporter of The Ron Clark Academy who nominated and endorsed the grant application. The MDRT Foundation grant will fund the Science Outreach Project to educate students about the environment. Specifically, students will investigate the impact that massive tree clearing and removal is having on Georgia's drought conditions.
This year, the MDRT Foundation will award more than $1 million in grants to more than 100 charities, on behalf of Randy Scritchfield, Charles McDaniels, CLU, CHFC, an 18-year MDRT member from Fayetteville, Georgia, will present this grant to the Ron Clark Academy.
