Glenwood Park Community Garden

The Glenwood Garden is next to the dog park, nestled against the 1-20 retaining wall. Although you won't see too many things growing right now, you can see the plots.

A few garden plots are still available on a first-come, first-served basis. You do have to be a resident of Glenwood Park in order to be assigned a garden plot. The garden is maintained as an organic garden and the Garden Committee (everyone who has a garden is automatically a voting member of the committee) is preparing for their annual meeting to be held in February. This is a great time to reserve a plot for a garden. In Atlanta we have a longer-than-average growing season, so you can practically garden year round.

Please come out and join us. If you're new to gardening, there are plenty of people willing to offer help and advice. If you would like a plot, email cjhbaird@yahoo.com. If you have any questions or need more information you can call (404) 622-4180.
