Greening the Capitol, June 3

Coca-Cola Recycling LLC, the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, and the Georgia Recycling Coalition will sponsor “Greening the Capitol – Recycling Expansion Day” on Wednesday, June 3, from 2:15 to 4:30 p.m.

The event marks the official launch of recycling bins in the Capitol and an informal introduction of the “You Gotta Be Kidding” statewide recycling campaign created to boost recycling and keep valuable recyclable materials out of the landfills and back in Georgia’s local mills and factories. 

Following a recycling rally on the Capitol, approximately fifty Coca-Cola Recycling associates, will disperse to spread recycling bins and recycling information. The interactive Coca-Cola Recycling Education Vehicle will also be on hand with recycling games, videos and prizes.
