Greenhaven Opens Near Marietta

From an eco-friendly home theatre, healthy home nursery and fly fishing room to an eco-tween suite and green pet room, each designer will be challenged to adhere to the guidelines of the LEED program and will work closely with industry-leading local vendors to transform the 7,000 square foot house into a widely recognized model for designers, builders, and homeowners.
To complement the design, Pace Homebuilders' Richard Feis will unveil Greenhaven to be an archetype for maximum sustainability and energy-efficiency. The implementation of state-of-the-art technologies in the design of Greenhaven will create a smart and functional home to evolve with the needs of today's family.
Pace Homebuilders plans to video document the development of Greenhaven with an educational Hard Hat Tour series. This video series, located on the Greenhaven website, will highlight the different environmental components, sustainable building practices, and green technologies implemented into the design of the home. The Hard Hat Series will conclude with the Grand Opening in January 2009 when Greenhaven will be open for public tours with proceeds benefiting the Upper Chattahoochee RiverKeeper Fund.
