Altanta's ICS Contract Services has recently been awarded Green Seal Certification. The Green Seal was given to ICS to reward its Sustainable Services Program, a custodial management program that uses environmentally friendly chemicals, equipment, and operating standards and that currently cleans 17 of Atlanta's premiere real estate properties with the program. The Sustainable Services Program makes use of only scent-free chemical solutions that are free of carcinogens and toxins, and hypoallergenic vaccums that collect 99% of dust particles in the air.
The ICS is the first company in the Southeast with a cleaning program that is officially accredited after an assessment by Green Seal. The ICS will be evaluated annually to make sure that its methods are still certifiable. In addition, the program makes use of daylight hours to clean so as to reduce electricity usage.
