WaterSmart's tip of the week...

As the days of summer continue to get hotter, and with most of Georgia still in a drought, waterSmart (a program initiated by the Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority to educate consumers about the importance of water conservation) is providing residents with helpful tips to make conserving water easy at any time of the year.

By following these simple waterSmart tips, residents will be able to maintain a healthier lawn, save water, save time and save money!

TIP OF THE WEEK
Don’t water in the heat of the day. You will only lose water to evaporation. If you have an automatic system, set it to come on in the early morning hours between 4 a.m. and 10 a.m.
