"Bauder College Goes Green" will kick off with a competitive fashion show featuring eco-friendly garments made by Bauder College fashion design students. Designs will be made of bamboo or cotton with embellishments made from recyclable materials such as cardboard, newspaper and aluminum cans.
Designs will be judged by Nedra Rhone,shopping and style editor of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution; Tiffany Davis, Atlanta editor of DailyCandy.com; and Jenn Ripley, owner of Luxe
Boutique.
Light organic and natural refreshments will be served to guests.

Medical assistant students will display a board near the refreshments highlighting the benefits of eating organic and natural food.
An exhibit will display sustainable design boards from interior design students. Information technology students will set up a display explaining the benefits of recycling ink cartridges and toner. They will also give tips on how to save energy when using computers and other electronics.

I think this is a really interesting idea and goes miles in promoting sustainable living. I would love to see the 'green' clothing - please post pictures if you can get hold of any. Have a look at my blog: g05k0763.wordpress.com
