The Atlanta Area Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (AARPCV) and Keep Atlanta Beautiful, in conjunction with many others are planning a Beltline cleanup day on Saturday, April 18th from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. So, put your work gloves on and get ready to show some much needed love and attention to our city's green space while we work with our friends and neighbors and dedicate a few hours to cleaning up around the Beltline.
Register individually at www.keepatlantabeautiful.org. Click on the link to "Register Now" and fill in your personal information. There will be a free t-shirt to all who volunteer and there
will be a free lunch with live music following the cleanup. Please don't forget to put "AARPCV" in as your organization name so that we can all work in the same general vicinity. Lastly, please shoot me a quick email to confirm that you will be attending, that way we will know how many folks to be looking for on the day of the event. (emilymartin_1@hotmail.com) Please plan on bringing sunblock and plenty of water. Also, for those not located within walking/biking distance, let me know if you need a ride to the event...and we can coordinate that as well. I hope to see you all soon!
