Share The Road Campaign Launches May 5

For its second year, the Atlanta Bicycle Campaign launches its Share the Road initiative with the "I'm on that Bike!” ad campaign on Monday, May 5, at 10 a.m at Dominos Pizza Midtown, 44 10th St. With noticeable increases in the number of Metro Atlanta residents choosing to be lean, clean and green by cycling, it becomes even more important that everyone – people operating bicycles and cars alike – learn to share the road. May is Bike Month and presents an opportunity for the community to learn the rules of sharing the road.

The Monday  event will showcase:
· A review of the rules of the road for motorists and cyclists
· Distinguished guests discussing the importance of sharing the road in fostering a community dedicated to sustainability by cycling
· Story from cyclist Katherine Morales, hit by a car on a local road
· A first look at the “I’m on that Bike!” ad campaign
